Description
If you know Japanese petrol cars well, you’ll know that this car with this millage is just ran in, they are bullet proof engines. It runs and drives well, all gear changes are still smooth with the 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine is still solid with no smoking or loss of power. It comes with an aftermarket radio, allowing an auxiliary input.
Despite being a 1.8 petrol, it still offers good fuel economy, having a claimed 32mpg. The insurance group is incredibly low, being just an insurance group 8! The same insurance class as the Renault Twingo and Citroen C1!
This car was a part exchange. It has 4 good tyres, all having lots of tread and being relatively new, It also has a brand-new battery and appears to have had new discs and pads recently. The MOT expires on the 11th November, the previous mot only having two advisories. One advisory was for a windscreen wiper, and one was for slight corrosion on the passenger side floor pan, which appears to just be surface rust as expected for the age of the car. This car could be a solid run around for years to come.
Bodywork wise it has some age-related marks around the car, but if anything it is cleaner than average for its age. There is a slight mark on the roof on the passenger side, which with some clay bar, polish and an hour or so could clean up well. The only other issue we are aware of is the passenger side window appears to be inoperative, the drivers side window works well.
In the interior the dials have some plastic fatigue, showing some hairline cracks around the dials (this does not effect the use). Someone during the vehicles life has also stuck a TomTom on the dashboard, we have not attempted to remove it but if you wished, it could be removed and cleaned up.
