Don’t be fooled with it being an older car, it still holds up really well for its age! It is incredibly comfortable to drive and well  equipped. It has front heated seats with full electric adjustment and  memory function (both passenger and driver), automatic climate control  with air conditioning, electric windows all around, and of course the  most important bit, a fully working convertible hardtop electric roof! This car also benefits from a factory optional Dynaudio upgraded sound  with a 6cd changer and subwoofer in the boot, Cruise control, full cream leather interior with wooden accents and more! It has included in the  sale original Volvo cream floor mats. It is fitted with the rare 2.4  petrol, naturally aspirated 5-cylinder engine, known to be a smooth and  bulletproof unit. This is matched with a 5-speed automatic gearbox.

Despite being a 2.4 petrol, it still offers good fuel economy, having a claimed 30mpg.

It  shifts into every gear with no crunches or knocks and accelerates smoothly throughout the rev range. The gearbox is quick to shift into every gear with no hesitation, also offering a manual mode should you  prefer to change gears manually.

From what we can gather, the  car was sitting for a while as it belonged to someone who sadly passed  away, and they had to wait until probate had concluded, in order to sell  the car on. The car since then has had a fresh mot, full deep clean throughout as well as a stage one polish on the paintwork to really make  the black sapphire metallic paintwork really shine in the sun. It has  recently had 4 brand new matching tyres all around, plus fresh numberplates to finish the cars look off.

Bodywork wise it is incredibly clean, having just a few stone chips to the front of the vehicle and occasional mark on the exterior, I have not seen such a clean near 20-year-old exterior for a long time. Even the headlights,  its common for them to condensate and the seals to break on them, but on this car, they are pristine, with hardly any yellowing.

The  roof is in a fully working condition, opening and closing without fail. The pillarless doors/windows really finishing off the open top feel. And  being a Volvo, it is an incredibly safe vehicle, cocooning the driver/passengers in airbags and roll over protection.

Whilst  unfortunately we did not receive any service history for this vehicle, you can tell it has been well cared for in its life. Having stickers under the bonnet for brake fluid changes, and an OEM replacement Cambelt, someone has really cared for this car.
